Lo staff di Bed & Breakfast in Italy augura a tutti un buon 2012 e vi presenta gli eventi regionali di gennaio:

3° Rassegna dell’Arte presepiale in Friuli Venezia Giulia – Il Bosco degli animali di San Francesco
Fino al 21 gennaio 2012 – Esedra di Levante, Villa Manin, Passariano di Codroipo (UD)
L’ormai consolidata Rassegna, curata dall’esperta Lucia Castellano, ospiterà opere d’arte di notevole rilevanza artistica provenienti anche da oltre regione. Sono diversi e sempre molto innovativi i materiali utilizzati per la creazione delle 80 Sacre Rappresentazioni esposte: legno, corteccia, pietra, piuma, mosaici, materiali naturali o riciclati, ferro e molto altro ancora, così come varie sono le loro dimensioni e le tecniche di costruzione.

Mostra “I Maestri del Novecento – La rappresentazione della figura umana in Friuli Venezia Giulia”
Fino al 18 marzo 2012 – Palazzo de Nordis, Piazza Duomo, Cividale del Friuli (UD)
Un evento che racconta con le immagini dei più grandi artisti del Novecento la cultura, il pensiero, l’identità, la società il lavoro della nostra terra. Un vero e proprio viaggio che presenterà l’evoluzione della raffigurazione umana (l’uomo e la sua condizione) nei diversi territori della Regione dall’inizio del Novecento fino alle tendenze contemporanee, esplorate con la partecipazione di artisti di diverse generazioni. Filo conduttore di questa esposizione è l’evoluzione della rappresentazione della figura umana, sia naturalistica che concettuale attraverso il Novecento, dal ritratto al rapporto dell’uomo con il mondo contemporaneo.
La mostra, a cura di Alessandro Fontanini, è stata ideata come “prosecuzione naturale” di “Maestri del Paesaggio: protagonisti del Novecento in Friuli Venezia Giulia” del 2010, e si prefigge di consolidarne il successo, dando vita ad un ciclo biennale sul Novecento, al fine di creare un’offerta pluriennale qualificata per la città di Cividale del Friuli nel panorama dei grandi eventi regionali.

Mostra internazionale “Art Confession”
Fino al 31 gennaio 2012, Bar Alla Transalpina – Riva Grumula 4 – Trieste
L’associazione dotART porta a Trieste “Art Confession”, mostra itinerante di opere fotografiche e digital art provenienti dall’est Europa (Russia, Lettonia, Lituania, Israele).
Art Confession nasce in Russia nel 2009 dalla collaborazione tra gli artisti Pavel Kuznecov, Larisa Kulik e Vladimir Fedotko, ai quali si sono uniti nel tempo altri artisti esteuropei. Lo stile che emerge in Art Confession non è facilmente catalogabile. La mostra denota una completa libertà di espressione creativa da parte degli artisti, che risultano accomunati solo da un approccio molto personale alle proprie opere. Tra le loro fonti d’ispirazione si scorgono i pittori Fiamminghi, Giuseppe Arcimboldo e Salvador Dalí.
Art Confession ha già fatto tappa alla galleria Art Hall a Viborg, a San Pietroburgo presso l’Università tecnologica statale, alla galleria Mr. Baker e presso Vinzavod.

January’s Events in Friuli Venezia Giulia

The staff of Bed & Breakfast in Italy wish everyone a happy 2012. January’s regional events are as follows:

3rd Review of Nativity Art in Friuli Venezia Giulia – The Wood of the Animals of St. Francis
Until the 21st of January 2012 – Esedra di Levante, Villa Manin, Passariano di Codroipo (Udine Province)
The well-established Review, curated by expert Lucia Castellano, will host works of art of considerable artistic relevance, originating from both within and without the region. The materials used in the creation of the 80 Holy Representations on display are varied and highly innovative: wood, tree bark, stone, feathers, mosaics, natural or recyclable materials, iron and much more still. Their sizes and technical construction are also highly varied.

Exposition – “The Maestros of the 20th Century – The Portrayal of the Human Figure in Friuli Venezia Giulia”
Until the 18th of March 2012 – Palazzo de Nordis, Piazza Duomo, Cividale del Friuli (Udine Province)
With images of the greatest artists of the 20th Century, this event exhibits the culture, the thinking, the identity and the society of our land. In a veritable journey, the exhibition will present the evolution of the portrayal of the human figure (man and his condition) in various parts of the Region from the beginning of the 20th Century up until contemporary trends, explored with the participation of artists from a variety of generations. A leading theme of this exposition is the evolution of the portrayal of the human figure, both naturalistically and conceptually throughout the 20th Century, ranging from the portrait to the relationship between man and the contemporary world.
The exposition, organised by Alessandro Fontanini, was conceived as the “natural continuation” of “Maestros of Landscape: Protagonists of the 20th Century in Friuli Venezia Giulia”, held in 2010, and is intended to capitalise on the success of this last. The biennial cycle on the 20th Century thus presents a coherent theme over the two events held respectively in 2010 and 2012 in the town of Cividale del Friuli within the panorama of important regional events.

International exposition “Art Confession”

The cultural association dotART brings “Art Confession” to Trieste, an exposition featuring artistic photography and digital art originating from eastern Europe (Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Israel).
Art Confession has its origins in Russia in 2009, resulting from a collaboration between the artists Pavel Kuznecov, Larisa Kulik and Vladimir Fedotko, who were later joined by other artists from eastern Europe. The style which emerges in Art Confession is not easily categorised. The exposition displays complete freedom of creative expression on the part of the artists, who are thus united only by a very personal approach to their respective works. Among their sources of inspiration figure the painters Fiamminghi, Giuseppe Arcimboldo and Salvador Dalí.
Art Confession has already been presented at the Art Hall Gallery in Viborg, in St. Petersburg at the State Technical University, at the Mr. Baker Gallery and in Vinzavod.
